With appreciation for paintings I made featuring their lands, Conservation Halton asked me to write a 1200-word article that spoke to my social media bio that stated I was "…called from an environmental science career to create art.” Conservation Halton’s online magazine is now obsolete, so for posterity, I republished here in my own blog what I wrote, as it was originally written and published in 2018.
